after just finishing re-installing my engine last night I went to e-town to get a few runs in before I park it for winter.
I pulled the engine to fix some minor problems that have been around for a while, and I also took the time to swap a few things out the Rich Z tech suggested(Big thanks to Rich for his suggestions)
My car finally feels like a big turbo car should, and now I have almost no lag. The car brakes loose 100 in 4th gear!!!
on to the race...
when I got there I noticed my car was hard to get into gear it looks like I might have a leak in one of my clutch lines(I just bled it last night) My first run I set my newly installed 2-step to about 3,800 and procced to launch harder then I ever have in my life. I ended up leting off in first and just kinda coasting through the gears to a 12.7 at 112 but with a 1.711 60 foot, I didnt want to push the tranny. it felt like shit. so for the next run I figured I would just launch hard and shut it down. I did that and ended up with a 12.0 at 119mph with another 1.7 60.
so I didnt run any 11's but for the first time my car felt scary fast, and I knwo if I was to go 100% it would be an easy low 11. Also I didnt have my boost controller on, I was just running with my Greddy type S wastegates with 1 bar springs. I had them cranked down a little so I spiked at about 18 and stayed at about 16.5/17. there were only about 3 Z's running a TT and a NA 2+2. I didnt get to see their times.
